Duran Duran e Duran Duran
Está previsto para Fevereiro/Março dois lançamentos por parte da EMI , de dvds da banda Duran Duran.
O primeiro de nome “Arena and Making of Arena” traz o seguinte material : -The Return of Duran Duran, Is There Something I Should Know?, Hungry Like The Wolf, Union of the Snake, Save a Prayer, The Wild Boys - the video, Planet Earth, Careless Memories, Girls on Film, The Reflex, Rio, The Making Of Arena -Concepts and windmills, Costumes, choreography and make-up, Hanging around robots, Milo and stilts, Blowing it all up + Extras - Arena TV ad, Arena trailer, Arena video mix, Save a Prayer Live, Simon Le Bon interview
Já o segundo tem como titulo “Sing Blue Silver” e contem : - Intro, Press Conference, Load In/Backstage, Is There Something I Should Know?, Meeting the L.A. Raiders, On The Road Again/Planet Earth, John on touring, Simon and Nick on image and recording in New York, Francesco Scavullo photo shoot, Back on the road, Girls on Film, Coca Cola press conference, Visit to F.B.I., Discussing Filming/The Seventh Stranger, In New Orleans, Save a Prayer, Oakland, California, Soundcheck/Backstage, Hungry Like The Wolf, Careless Memories, The end of the tour

Não seria má ideia editarem tudo o que os Duran fizeram em VHS. Gostava tb de ver em dvd o filme "3 to get ready" (apesar de ser a preto e branco...)e o dos Arcadia, mas se calhar isso já é pedir muito.
Pena é que eles que foram pioneiros nestas coisas dos videoclips tenham chegado tarde e a más horas ao dvd.
Mas o "Greatest" não está mal, se bem que dava jeito o dvd trazer as explicações de como encontrar os easter eggs...

Aki vão alguns easter eggs do DVD Greatest: enjoy it
• Go to Union of the Snake on the sub menu, hit the left arrow key, press play or enter on your remote and view the Dancing on the Valentine version.
• Once you have played the first default version of New Moon on Monday, reselecting the video gives you a different version. Similarly, reselecting the uncensored Girls on Film reveals an alternate ending. Ditto Wild Boys for another version.
• Enter Le Galerie de Duran by clicking the 'A' in the word 'GREATEST' on the main menu. This pulls up a gallery featuring the group's album covers and singles sleeves.
When the Planet Earth single sleeve is enlarged, go to the bottom single sleeve (Girls on Film) and press the left arrow button. This takes you to a ''hot spot.'' Press play or enter.
• On the Girls on Film (Short Censored Version) clip, click to enlarge the sleeve. Go to the Play screen icon and press remote's play/enter.
• A Day in the Life featurette is available by highlighting the third single sleeve down while an album sleeve is enlarged. Hit right arrow key and then play/enter.
• While the Seven and the Ragged Tiger sleeve is enlarged, press the up arrow key, then play/enter to hear the band discuss the 1983 LP.
• Watch bandmates chat about the Wild Boys clip by pressing the up arrow key next to the screen's Play icon when its sleeve is enlarged. Hit play/enter. The group's John and Andy Taylor discuss the 007 View to a Kill clip, too. While on that sleeve, go to the Play icon, hit the right arrow, press play/enter.
• On the second DVD, enter Le Galerie as on the first disc. To see the Liberty album's press kit, highlight that album's sleeve, slide to the left top single sleeve and press the up arrow key, then play/enter. Also, enlarge the Serious single sleeve, go to its parent album Liberty and press the right arrow key, then play/enter.
• Enlarge the Come Undone sleeve. Go to Play icon, press left arrow key, then play/enter.

Sim. O Greatest tem quase todos os videoclips que eles fizeram (mais algumas raridades). Os dvds que vão sair são ao vivo.

Também sou fã da musica dos Duran Duran. Para mim a melhor banda pop da 1ª metade da decada de oitenta.
Estou expectante em relação à edição de um concerto ao vivo em dvd, de preferência em dts[:p]. Também só compro dvd de espectáculos ao vivo. É mais emocionante e a cada visionamento descobrimos pormenores novos.[8D]

Eu era um grande fã dos DD há 15 ou 20 anos e tenho em video o "Sing Blue Silver". Devo dizer que aquilo é só mesmo para fanáticos (pelo menos é assim que o vejo hoje) - com entrevistas, bastidores, partes de espectáculos, mas tudo a puxar para o kitsch... Muito a pensar nas menininhas que os idolatravam na altura.
Enfim, o que é facto é que eu também o comprei... [:I]
A versão que eu tenho foi comprada num "El Corte Inglês" qualquer há uma porrada de anos e está, claro, dobrada em espanhol, o que só serve para ajudar à festa.
