Bom, antes do mais, peço desculpa se vou repetir alguma coisa já aqui mencionada, mas pela pesquisa não encontrei nada.

A confirmarem-se as noticias que andam por aí espalhadas em alguns sites, Matthew Vaughn, produtor dos filmes de Guy Ritchy e realizador de "Layer Cake", vai ser o sucessor de Bryan Singer no comando da terceira aventura dos mutantes da Marvel. Por enquanto, mantém-se ainda a estreia do novo filme para 2006 (se não se despacham, vamos ter molho para 2007, a juntar ao peso-pesadissimo Spider-Man 3) e a história será (obviamente) baseada na Dark Phoenix Saga.

Primeiro queriam o Joss Whedon na realização:

Joss Whedon is in final negotiations with Joel Silver and Warner Bros. to write and direct WONDER WOMAN for Summer 2006. Joss Whedon. Joel Silver. WONDER WOMAN. 2006. That's right, baby!!! Ain't it cool?

The only possible thing standing in this picture's way is X-MEN 3. I know what's been said, but Fox is still coming after him hard to direct that, and that's a tough thing for a guy like Joss to pass up. But he probably will. For WONDER WOMAN.

IGN Filmforce has a follow-up to the news that Beast, Gambit and Angel will appear in X-Men 3.

The site says that Angel will indeed be male, not female as was previously reported, and it will be a major character in the film.

Beast is expected to be seen in his transformed part while Gambit is not expected to be a major character. Cyclops also won't have a big role in the story, the site adds.

A única coisa que não me agrada é a persistência em manter o Cyclops secundário. Porra, o tipo é o lider dos X-Men e ainda por cima é a Jean Grey o principal foco da história.

E porque é que não metem o Colossus, tb ? Agora fiquei triste...

Confirmado Matthew Vaughn para o lugar de realizador

Variety has confirmed that "Layer Cake" helmer Matthew Vaughn is set to direct X-Men 3 for 20th Century Fox and Marvel Entertainment. Filming is scheduled to start in early summer with many of the cast from the first two films expected to reprise their roles.

Hugh Jackman is set for Wolverine, and Fox is in talks with Halle Berry, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart to return.

Alex Young is overseeing X-Men 3 for Fox, which is aiming for a Memorial Day May 26, 2006, release date.

Eu não tenho grande fé neste filme.... Ainda ontem revi o X Men 2 e acho que o Singer fez muito mal em abandonar o 3 para fazer o Superman. É certo que o Superman ganhou com o negócio, mas é também quase certo que os X Men perderam... Ainda por cima o X Men 2 que tem aquele final que já sabemos, mesmo a preparar o 3, e depois há esta mudança de pai para padrasto....

A sério que este X3, para mim, só vendo. Até lá, não acredito nem por um segundo que isto será bom.

O antigo futebolista inglês Vinnie Jones vai interpretar um vilão no terceiro filme da saga «X-Men», noticia o The Sun.

Vinnie Jones, que já participou em numerosos filmes, incluindo «Snatch – Porcos e Diamantes», vai encarnar um vilão chamado Juggernaut.
O elenco de «X-Men 3» conta com Halle Berry, Hugh Hackman e Ian McKellen, entre outros.

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Now, we here at AICN as well as our friends around the web, including the good folks at IGN FilmForce, have pretty much confirmed that Vinnie Jones was in line to play Juggernaut, but now it's even more official, thanks to MiraJeff out in New York who wrangled X3 director Matthew Vaughn into spilling on his future projects. I'm also curious to see where he takes a Neil Gaiman property... Anyway, here's MiraJeff with the details!

Harry, MiraJeff reporting live from the Regency Hotel in NYC at the Layer Cake festival where director Matthew Vaughn has confirmed that he will be directing and producing Neil Gaiman's Stardust. He couldn't go into details, though he did hint at confirming that Vinne Jones is close to signing onto X3 as Juggernaut, an interesting villain because he is related to Professor X. Could this be newsworthy? We've hardly heard anything else close to confirming Vinnie. I'll cross my fingers though, because if there's one man Wolverine can't handle, it's Big Chris.

Anyone remember the Super Nintendo X-Men game where as Wolverine you had to use your claws to uppercut Juggernaut's helmet off in order to beat him? I'm pretty damn excited about X3!

Esta informação é relativa à BD. Se conseguirem "passar" o vilão para o filme, isso vai ser espantoso.
Mas, eu preferia o Singer a comandar este projecto.

Há que ter fé. O Juggernaut é uma excelente escolha, embora traga outro problema consigo: até agora os filmes têm tido uma base de realidade relativamente razoável, no entanto o Juggernaut têm origem no objecto místico, ou seja, envolve magia. Mas é um problema fácilmente ultrapassável. Tem-se falado também nos Sentinelas, depois do falso alarme no último filme, era simpático que desta aparecessem. Par além disso, há medida que a saga avança surge outro problema: com cada novo filme são adicionadas novas personagens, o que significa menos tempo para cada uma delas. Esperemos que o realizador e os argumentistas saibam dar a volta por cima.

Não estou a ver o Fanático ( Juggernaut ) a funcionar como inimigo principal.
Ele sempre foi mais útil como marioneta, já que não passa de um colossal idiota.

Além disso, estou curioso em ver como vão adaptar o estilo visual da personagem ao filme.
Confesso que estou com medo...
