Ao nível do e-mail parecem estar a recuperar. Enviei um mail ontem às 02:00 (pronto, já era hoje), e às 02:11 tinha a resposta.

Sobre a encomenda do dia 12 (a tal do mail-relâmpago), recebi hoje um mail deles a dizer que afinal não conseguem o filme, e a perguntar se quero voucher ou devolução no Visa.
Apesar de não ter conseguido o filme, considero que trabalharam bem.

Para quem quiser então saber "from the horse's mouth" o que se passou, o porquê da confusão (que já sabíamos: acção em tribunal de valor milionário + incêndio o no armazém), o porquê de estar tudo a funcionar "aparentemente bem" outra vez desde há umas semanas, etc. Pode ler este mail que recebi hoje em relação a uma reclamação que tinha feito na altura:

Good Afternoon

As you may or may not already be aware, the British Phonographic Industry (“BPI”) commenced an action in September 2006 against Music Trading On-Line (HK) Limited (“MTOL HK”) which owned and operated the CD WOW! business. On 20 March 2007, the High Court of Justice Chancery Division handed down a judgment on liability against MTOL HK and subsequently damages of GBP41,136,417 were awarded against MTOL HK on 23 May 2007 (“UK Judgment”).

Upon the UK Judgment being handed down, BPI made an Ex Parte application to the High Court of Hong Kong, SAR (“Court”) for a worldwide mareva injunction against MTOL HK. That application was successful. As a result of, inter alia, these events, on 25 May 2007, Ms Walsh and Mr Borrelli were appointed Joint and Several Receivers of MTOL HK pursuant to a Fixed and Floating Charge between MTOL HK and Asia Sino.

Subsequently on 31 August 2007, the Receivers completed the sale of assets and business of MTOL HK to Stomp Pty Limited ("Stomp"). Stomp is an international retailer and wholesaler of DVDs, CDs and games based in Melbourne, Australia. As you will see from www.cd - wow.com Stomp continues to operate and develop the CD WOW! business. Further information about Stomp can be found at www.stomp.com.au.

By way of background, when orders are placed with CD-WOW! funds from customers credit or debit cards are received by and processed through various payment service providers (“PSPs”). Your Order was placed through one of the PSPs, Euroconex Technologies Limited and/or Pay Shop Limited Trading as Realex Payments (together “Euroconex”). While Euroconex has collected these funds from you, since the appointment of the Receivers, they have neither released the money to MTOL HK nor will they allow money to be refunded to you, despite us processing your refund from our end in August.

In light of Euroconex’s conduct, on 14 June 2007, the Receivers applied for and obtained an order from the Court seeking a variation to the Injunction such that all PSPs pay all funds collected by them to the Receivers. This would have permitted a refund to you. However, Euroconex has ignored the Order and refused to release the funds to the Receivers.

MTOL HK and the Receivers have been doing everything possible to return your money to you. However, it has now been at least 2 months since you first requested your refund and to try to resolve this matter, the Receivers now propose the following 2 options.

OPTION A - Send us your details and the Recievers will send you a cheque for the amount of your refund in lieu of your refund. The cheque will be paid directly to you via the post within 7 working days. Please note that your bank may charge you an additional fee for verifying / clearing your cheque which we are not responsible for.

OPTION B - Accept an e-voucher in lieu of your Realex refund for the value of the item cancelled plus 1.00 Pound Sterling (or equivalent in local currency). You evoucher will be sent via e-mail and will be valid for one month from date of issue and can be redeemed via CD-WOW!

To enable us to assist you further, please reply to [nome.da.pessoa]@cd-wow.com and let us know which Option you wish to select.

Should you choose Option A, please confirm your full name and full postal address via e-mail to [nome.da.pessoa]@cd-wow.com so that we can arrange the cheque payment to be sent to you within 7 working days from your e-mail receipt.

CD-WOW! and the Receivers extend their most sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Eu também já recebi os reembolsos dos DVDs da "fase terminal" da "antiga" wow que nunca me foram enviados. Com validade de 30 dias

Ja tive a ver e até ja tem cds de bandas mais underground, coisa q ultimamente estava fraco.

Nao sei qual o estado da cd-wow mas leiam e tirem conclusoes...

em Março nao sei se sse lembram mas houve uma grande promocao de dvds de musica a 3 4 5 £ que com vouchers ficam a preco da chuva, na altura comprei muitos mas houve problemas pois nem tudo chegou e alguns so a segunda vez...

hoje fui a caixa do correio e surpresa!! envelope da cdwow...
como nao esperava nada
