Eu acho engraçado é a década de 90 ser tão pouco referida. Claro que ao serem realizadores, têm que dar um ar superior e tal, mas quase que aposto que os realizadores das próximas décadas darão muito ênfase a uma década que trouxe, entre outros, A Lista de Schindler, Silêncio dos Inocentes, Se7en, Os Condenados de Shawshank, Os Suspeitos do Costume, Pulp Fiction ou Matrix. Mas ok, deixemos isto para os especialistas.
PS: Já agora, compreendia mais se me dissessem que estes foram os filmes em que mais se inspiraram. Agora como filmes favoritos, demonstra que não se sabem actualizar, porque não é por existirem grandes filmes de décadas passadas que deixo de incluir alguns destas duas últimas décadas bem ao seu lado.

Leão, acho que convém reparar é na idade e geração da maioria dos realizadores listados. A maioria são pessoas acima dos 50/60 anos de idade, penso que é "normal" citarem filmes dos tempos em que eram jovens e influenciáveis e filmes que revolucionaram décadas passadas como os seus favoritos.

Não se esqueçam que muitos destes realizadores por vezes (muitas) conseguem ver e perceber os filmes de um outro prisma muito mais aperfeiçoado do que o nosso. Eles conseguem ver nos seus filmes de eleição algo mais do que a história em si e até mesmo da técnica envolvida.
Por alguma razão eles criaram uma empatia com estes realizadores/filmes que pode até nem ser igual á nossa, relativamente aos mesmos filmes.
