O DIA EM QUE A MÚSICA QUIS MUDAR O MUNDO
Há 20 anos, mais de 1,5 bilião de pessoas assistia aquele que foi o maior acontecimento da história da música, o LIVE AID, cujos lucros reverteram na sua totalidade para combater a fome em África.
O lançamento em DVD (em Novembro) deste evento, vai permitir-nos a todos continuar a participar de uma forma activa no combate à fome e fazer com que vidas sejam salvas.
Desde 1985 até ao lançamento deste DVD, o Band Aid Trust já distribuiu mais de 144 milhões de dólares na luta contra a fome em África, apoiando projectos no Burkina Faso, Chade, Eritreia, Etiópia, Mali, Nigéria e Sudão.
“Estive pessoalmente em Port Sudan e Darfur, para garantir que o dinheiro angariado chegava às mãos certas…”
“Estarei de novo em África para assistir à chegada dos camiões com a ajuda que pode significar a sobrevivência destas pessoas…” afirma Geldof.
Este não é um DVD de um concerto, é a esperança concreta de sobrevivência para milhões de pessoas que estão a morrer de fome.
Todos os lucros deste DVD serão usados para permitir a continuidade do trabalho do Band Aid Trust em África e, tal como anteriormente, garantir que a ajuda chegue mesmo a quem dela necessita.
Chegou agora a sua vez de actuar e de forçar os políticos a rever a sua posição.
A sua ajuda hoje poderá significar que alguém estará vivo daqui a 20 anos.

de certeza que por cá, não deve ser menos que uns 40 €
