Pois é, parece que a tecnologia LCD está cada vez mais a quebrar "mitos" e "verdades inquestionáveis" até há bem pouco tempo atrás.
Aliás toda a tecnologia está numa revolução tal, que o audio e vídeo High-End, a meu ver, terá de ser repensado!
"This shootout indicates that we have reached a fundamental turning point in the industry. For the first time in our experience, an inexpensive LCD projector can be placed along side a well-regarded high performance DarkChip3 DLP projector, evaluated purely for its image quality, and not come off second best. With some types of video material the Z4 will actually surpass the H79 in overall image quality.
Thus, Sanyo has made an extraordinary statement with the PLV-Z4, which is that LCD can no longer be viewed as a second class video technology that must compete by undercutting the price of its DLP competition. Rather, LCD has the demonstrated potential to outperform DLP head to head, regardless of price considerations. The implications of this are far-reaching, and will have an impact on industry price structure, traditional distribution channels, and the direction of new product development. In our view, the PLV-Z4 is destined to become one of the most influential product releases we have ever seen".

Só como aparte, já à cerca de ano e meio atrás, numa reputada loja de High-End em Lisboa assiti a uma demonstração de um projector Sim2, e embora não tivesse feito um comparativo lado a lado com o meu Sanyo PLV-Z2, fiquei com a impressão que o Sim2, não tinha diferenças significativas em relação ao Sanyo. O Sim2 estava a receber componentes e o meu Sanyo estava ligado por DVI. Para ser franco, até gostei mais do meu! Embora não o tenha comentado na referida loja! Seria a blasfémia total.

O leitor de DVD era um Samsung DVD-HD935, com saida DVI.

lol, até aposto que sei em que loja foi, conheço quem tenha a mania que componentes é melhor que uma ligação digital.
mas olha que um sim2 ligado por hdmi pode dar uma imagem fantástica. não sei do sanyo... mas o meu sim acho que está com uma imagem fantástica. os unicos problemas que pode ter é em termos de deinterlacing, em que julgo que o leitor podia fazer melhor, mas com imagens pouco rápidas, não tenho visto muito melhor por aí... só... o sim2 c3x!

- Mas nos foruns ja ha muita discussão a volta dessas reviews da projector.... muita pessoal acha pouco credivel, o mesmo passou se com o pan ae900 vs benq7700, em q eles diziam q pany ganhava por larga margem, e havia pessoal no forum q tinha o pany e tosiba tm700 irmão do benq, e q era taco a taco e dizia q nunca venderia o 700 para ficar com o panasonic, o toshiba conseguia melhores blacks mas n por muito .. ou seja era ela por ela, eu estou indeciso na compra de um projector pois sempre gostei mais da imagem dos DLP e com este toshiba com reso 1280x e estandos os 2 ao mesmo preço.. n sei n
Penso que neste momento a compra certa será o Sanyo. É só uma opinião. mas baseada em várias criticas e reviews. Mas ainda não vi o Sanyo à venda em Portugal? alguém sabe de alguma loja ou site que esteja a vender o Sanyo?
À parte desta opinião, o Panasonic está com uma bom preço na todosonyc... Não encontrei a esse preço em lado nenhum do mundo...
